We’d like to introduce you to…
Meet Harper.
Harper is one of World Reborn’s most complex and tumultuous characters. Her life’s never been easy, and it’s forged her into a fighter. She’d rather punch first than let anyone knock her down. She’s tough, clever and a little mean. The girl doesn’t back down.
I’m not sure how much you’re going to like her... But like most characters in Pathways, she might surprise you...
Meet Zoe.
Lovable, fun, leap-before-you-look, Zoe. Half black, half Mexican, Zoe’s got ins with East Side. She’s also “ins” with anything with a keyboard. That’s right. She’s miss hacker extraordinaire. Her twitchy fingers and impulsive personality cause her (and you) quite the problems.
Meet Kai.
Should call him King Kai the way everyone scrapes to do his bidding. His good looks, effortless charm, and deep pockets make him the ring leader for the Royals. His dad is old money and his mom (God rest her soul) was a famous Japanese singer. Every door is open to Kai, or so it seems. I would tell you to stay out of his way, but you can’t help it. Beware, he’s touchy about his skeletons in the closet and will do whatever it takes to keep that door locked.
Meet Dontrell.
You don’t need the title of King when you’ve earned respect like Dontrell. He’s scrapped for everything he has and isn’t slowing down. But that doesn’t mean he’ll step on the little guy. Dontrell protects his own. He’s is a big brother to his community, which has made him de-facto leader of East Side. But if you’re not in his circle, watch out. Responsibility like that is a heavy load to carry. And he’s got zero tolerance for anyone who trips him up.

Sarah, a small-town church girl who's studying early child development.

Diah, the aspiring journalist and activist.

Flint, the ridiculously clever and charming class president.

Rafiq, the quiet roommate with, uh, interesting hobbies...

Saxon, a "Jee" who's tired of being in Kai's shadow.

Mr. Marquez, the counselor and history professor.

Shay, the musician and artist. (she/they)
