Social Media & Community Manager
Wicked Saints is looking for a paid social media and community manager to join our team executing the following activities:
Under the strategic leadership of the Creative Director, execute and manage social media strategy across platforms to drive engagement, brand awareness, and player community ahead of game launch
Create content, post, engage, and report on relevant social platforms and gaming community sites to build and nurture a thriving, passionate, and engaged player community
Maintain a highly visible interactive social presence, including interacting with other creators appealing to our target audience
Spearhead social content development working with internal and external team members to create killer creative content
Utilize influencer, creator, and partner content to maximum effect
Build and manage thriving playtester communities; engage with playtesters to gather valuable game feedback and marketing insights and user-generated content
Stay on the pulse of trends and happenings in narrative, role-playing, visual novel, and social games, including relevant social media and content that would resonate with target audiences
Identify new target audiences that would resonate with the game and develop strategies to engage them
Establish pertinent key performance indicators; produce regular social and community analytics reports and make recommendations to continuously optimize efforts in preparation for go-to-market
Identify and adapt social content for user acquisition ads; deploy ads and develop reports
Be the driver for new platform experimentation and adoption
Establish enforce content and community standards
Represent the company mission and develop a corresponding brand voice in all community campaigns and audience engagement efforts
In addition to being a nice human, an ideal candidate will be/have many of the following:
Passion for the cause, motivated by the mission of World Reborn
Startup mentality–a willingness to don multiple hats and be a team player
3+ years of professional social media experience, especially on TikTok, building and growing audiences from the ground up
Community management experience, especially on Discord
Expertise in organic social media across relevant platforms (TikTok, IG, X, Reddit, Discord) & ability to find the best audience channels/platforms for specific player targets
A portfolio of social media campaigns, including relevant posts, videos, graphics, memes and ads, you’ve built or had a strong role in the success of with metrics associated
Talent for building thriving communities and driving audiences to action
Interest in games, especially in narrative, RPG, visual novels; preference for experience in the gaming industry, ideally launching a new game in the US market
A strong creative eye and ability to create graphics, photo, and video content
Genius for tapping into current trends and memes within the parameters of our mission
Bonus points for experience with influencer marketing and/or non-traditional social marketing, including tapping into ARG principles
Core analytical skills to extract social data, create reports, present findings, and make recommendations for the highest ROI activities
Keen ability to experiment, learn, and pivot to get results
Self-motivated and comfortable working autonomously and taking initiative
Impeccable communication and copywriting skills and experience doing voiceovers
Professional ability to engage in-person if needed at events and with influencers/creators
We are a remote-only team. Final compensation will be directly related to candidate qualifications and experience. Open to both part- and full-time applicants. Ideally, this position will prove themselves through several contracted deliverables and develop into a permanent, full-time team member.
